GWEN TULIN
Playwright, Songwriter, Performer
ABOUT ME
Gwen has always occupied an in-between space of musician, writer, and actor, and happily found many ways to present this liminality to the world as a performing artist in Chicago. Recently returned to the East Coast, Gwen currently resides in Greater Boston where she hopes to present such creative vessels as “Crumb On My Eyebrow, Was It A Booger” and “Opera Lady” to the expensive, progressive City on a Hill. Gwen’s creative life is marked by periods of great productivity followed by years of pursuing other interests, such as cats and being named Most Improved Batter in softball. This most recent productive time yielded many beloved creative relationships, including serving as a company member and music director for PlayMakers Laboratory (formerly Barrel of Monkeys); founding Brain Arts Productions, and working as a guest artist with The Neo-Futurists. Gwen is an alum of Brandeis University.
